Distinta (m, 5, Summer Bird–Miss Kitty, by Storm Cat), winner earlier this year of the GII Inside Information S. at Gulfstream Park, fetched a final bid $600,000 to lead the early returns of the Fasig-Tipton Horses of All Ages Sale in Lexington. The 5-year-old mare was consigned to the sale by Taylor Made Sales Agency as agent and was hammered down to Medallion Racing. Winner of four of her 23 trips to the post, Distinta has current earnings of $346,715 and was a latest second in the GII Princess Rooney S. at Gulfstream July 1.
