+CONQUEST HOT HUMOR (c, 3, Distorted Humor— Annasan, by Corporate Report), who was the second-highest priced lot when selling for $500,000 at the 2013 Fasig-Tipton October Yearling sale, continued the hot streak of Conquest Stables maiden winners while debuting as half of the 1-2 favored entry. Away a half-step slowly, the chestnut moved up to track stablemate Conquest Streetkid (Street Cry {Ire}) before dropping back a bit leaving the backstretch. Given his cue approaching the straight, he was tipped four wide into the lane and reeled in Conquest Streetkid under left-handed encouragement to draw off by 2 1/4 lengths. The winner, who is catalogued as hip 3311 at the upcoming Keeneland November sale, is a half-brother to Adjalah (Gold Fever, SP, $388,485); Arco's Gold (Gold Fever, SW & GSP, $388,678); and A Bit O'Gold (Gold Fever, Horse of the Year, Ch. 3yo, Ch. Turf Horse, & Ch. Older Horse-Can, MGSW, $1,788,256). Conquest was represented by a pair of juvenile maiden winners on the opening-day card at Keeneland Friday. Click for the Equibase.com chart. VIDEO, sponsored by Fasig-Tipton. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $30,610.
