A colt by Distorted Humor out of a Deputy Minister half-sister to champion Hold That Tiger (Storm Cat) and closely related to GI Belmont S. hero Editor's Note (Forty Niner), was knocked down to Shadwell Estate Co Ltd for $700,000. The chestnut colt, a March 25, was consigned by Lane's End, as agent for Richard Santulli's Colts Neck Stables.
