A colt by Distorted Humor out of Stupendous Miss (Dynaformer) fetched a final bid of 320,000gns (about $549,250) to lead the way during Thursday's second and final session of the Tattersalls Craven Breeze-Up Sale in Newmarket. The bay, who cost Cloran Bloodstock just $60,000 as a KEESEP yearling last fall, was consigned by Willie Browne's Mocklershill and was purchased by Sir Robert Ogden. The April foal was bred by Jim and Alice Sapara's Winsong Farms, who acquired the colt's dam for $1.3 million at KEENOV in 2006. At the time, Stupendous Miss was carrying a full brother to the sales-topper, a colt eventually named Do It All, who was a $900,000 purchase by John Ferguson at Fasig-Tipton Saratoga in the summer of 2008. Ogden also paid 315,000gns for a colt by Azamour (Ire) during the Wednesday session at Tatts.
