John Ferguson snatched up an athletic colt by Distorted Humor for $900,000 as the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Selected Yearlings Sale pressed on Monday evening. Consigned by Craig and Holly Bandoroff's Denali Stud, the first produce from GSW Stupendous Miss (Dynaformer) was bred by Jim and Alice Sapara's Winsong Farms. “He was a nice colt and we thought he should be in [that price range] somewhere,” Jim Sapara commented. “That's a lot of money in this economy. We were pleased with how he sold. You take what you get and you're happy to get that kind of mare that's turning out horses like that.”
