Dubai International Thoroughbred Internships, a fully funded 10-month scholarship providing Chinese university graduates the opportunity to learn about horse racing worldwide, has announced its latest intake of 21 interns. The interns will commence their programme with a two-week induction in Shanghai, after which they will be based at a Godolphin or Darley location in the UK, Ireland, America, Australia or Japan. They will complete the programme with a stint in Dubai next March before graduating in Hong Kong.
DITI training manager Sidney Tam said, “We are delighted to announce the fifth intake of Dubai International Thoroughbred Internships, which has already provided numerous trainees with the opportunity to explore the global Thoroughbred breeding and racing industry and to learn from Godolphin and Darley, leading organisations within the industry. We are looking forward to welcoming this group of 21 young Chinese to teach them about the breeding and racing, Dubai and the UAE in the coming months.” Click here for the list of interns.
