Gunpowder Farm's Divisidero (Kitten's Joy) is back in light training at Silver Springs Farm and could return to the races as early as February, according to trainer Buff Bradley.
“He's back on the farm doing some jogging,” Bradley said. “I'll actually be going down there next week so I'll be seeing him then. It looks like he's filled out quite a bit and we're real anxious to get him back. The main thing is that we got to turn him out and he got a lot of time which is a good thing.”
The sophomore was an impressive winner of Churchill's GII American Turf S. May 2 and posted another stylish victory in Belmont's Pennine Ridge S. May 30 before finishing a head scratching seventh in the GI Belmont Derby last time July 4.
