With big races like the GI Haskell Invitational S. and GI Travers S. on the horizon, sophomore Donegal Moon (Malibu Moon) was a much-anticipated offering at Monday's Fasig-Tipton July Selected Horses of Racing Age Sale. But after spending a particularly long time in the ring, the last-out GIII Pegasus S. winner left a $1.6-million RNA. Taylor Made Sales Agency consigned the colt on behalf of Donegal Racing as hip 508. The Todd Pletcher trainee currently sports a record of 11-3-1-1 with earnings just shy of $200,000.
