'TDN Rising Star' Dortmund (Big Brown–Our Josephina, by Tale of the Cat), winner of the 2014 GI Los Alamitos Futurity and 2015 GI Santa Anita Derby, has been retired and will stand at Bonita Farm in Maryland. Bred in Kentucky by Emilie Gerlinde Fojan, he was campaigned by Kaleem Shah. The $90,000 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky yearling and $140,000 Fasig-Tipton Midlantic juvenile retires with a record of 16-8-2-2 and earnings of $1,987,505.
