Godolphin jockeys James Doyle and William Buick will return to their old agent Michael Haggas, Racing Post reported on Tuesday. The pair had been represented by George Baker since last September.
“We started the season with our friend and former weighing room colleague George Baker booking our rides but things haven't really worked out the way we had planned,” the duo said in a statement. “George is an absolute gentleman and we would both like to thank him sincerely for the time and effort he has put in…Michael knows us very well and has agreed to step in and look after our rides for the rest of the year, which gives us some breathing space. That will allow us to explore every eventuality before we appoint a new agent for 2020.”
