Trainer Majed Al Jahouri has been banned two years for presenting Purebred Arabian Hamares (Fr) to race on Nov. 18, 2016 at Al Ain Racecourse with an overage of cobalt. Hamares returned a cobalt reading exceeding the allowable limit of 100 micrograms per litre of urine after winning the 1600 metre handicap. Al Jahouri pleaded guilty to the charge, and Hamares was stripped of the win.
