Last year's joint-top price of 2.6-million gns was matched 13 lots into the 2017 edition of Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale on Tuesday when trainer Roger Varian prevailed for lot 13, Meon Valley's Dubawi (Ire) colt out of the Group 1 winner Izzi Top (GB) (Pivotal {GB}). One of those co-toppers last year was the 'TDN Rising Star' Emaraaty (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}), who is out of this colt's second dam Zee Zee Top (GB) (Zafonic).
