Eaton's Gift (Johannesburg) shook loose turning for home and went on to post an impressive score in the GII Swale S. at Gulfstream. After pairing up maiden and allowance scores at Keeneland and Churchill, respectively, the bay set the pace in the GI CashCall Futurity before tiring to finish seventh. He cut back to seven furlongs successfully here for trainer Dale Romans.
