The deadline to register yearlings to the European Breeders Fund by a stallion not registered to the EBF is on May 1.
“Owners and breeders looking to either campaign or sell a horse to Europe should check that it is EBF nominated, as over 80% of 2-year-old maiden races are confined to EBF eligibles,” said Kerry Murphy of the EBF. “In addition, your horse will become eligible to compete for a pool of over €5-million available in added prizemoney. This nomination stage largely relates to horses by stallions standing in the U.S., Japan, etc.”
The nomination fee is $600.
