A colt by Empire Maker attracted a final bid of $750,000 from Tom McCrocklin, acting on behalf of Robert and Lawana Low. The colt, consigned by Scanlon Training Center, agent, was purchased by Paul Pompa, Jr. for $575,000 at last year's Keeneland September sale. The two-year-old is out of Henderson Band (Chimes Band) and is a half-sister to Grade I winner Cash Included (Include). He worked a furlong in :10 2/5 Monday.
