Clear Sailing (Empire Maker), a once-raced three-year-old filly out of a 3/4-sister to GSW & GISP Jump Start (A.P. Indy), was knocked down to Larry Richardson, agent for Louisiana-based Coteau Grove, for $255,000 Tuesday at Keeneland. Consigned by Eaton Sales as agent for the complete dispersal of Overbrook Farm, the bay–third in one start as a two-year-old, but unraced since–was offered as a racing or broodmare prospect, and has been in steady training at Keeneland. She most recently went a half-mile in :48 over the Polytrack Oct. 31. Clear Sailing was one of four mares to bring a six-figure pricetag as of 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
