Grade I winner Euro Charline (GB) (Myboycharlie {Ire}–Eurolink Artemis {GB}, by Common Grounds {GB}) injured a tendon while working towards Friday's G1 Falmouth S. and has been retired from racing. The 5-year-old mare will be entered in the Tattersalls December Sale as part of trainer Marco Botti's Prestige Place consignment.

“Euro Charline was one of the best horses I have trained,” said Botti. “She was not the luckiest horse to be fair and a couple of her seconds very well could have been firsts. While her family is not out of the top drawer, she will prove popular with breeders at the sale because she looks the part.”

Bought for just 800gns by Old Buckenham Stud as a yearling at Tattersalls February in 2012, Euro Charline was pinhooked for 13,000gns eight months later at Tattersalls October when bought by Scuderia Blueberry. She won her first two starts for that operation before being purchased privately by Team Valor, in whose silks she finished third in the G1 Coronation S. at Royal Ascot before winning the GI Beverly D. S. at Arlington. That proved her last victory but she was Group 1-placed on a further three occasions, including the G1 Dubai Turf Mar. 26 and the G1 Lockinge S. May 16. She retires with earnings of $2,353,010.
