Ever So Lucky to Be Scratched from Hutcheson

TDN Rising Star Ever So Lucky (Indian Charlie), who was expected to make his 3-year-old debut in today's GII Hutcheson S. at Gulfstream Park, will instead remain in the barn and await the GII Swale S. Mar. 10, trainer Jonathan Sheppard said late Friday. “We really hadn't been able to train the way we wanted to because the track's been so bad,” he stated, referring to the sloppy main track over the past few days. “The horse had a little issue out of the race at Churchill, so we decided it wouldn't be in his best interest right now. We'll wait for the Swale.”
