Shares in stallion prospect Extreme Choice (Aus) (Not A Single Doubt (Aus) are among the wildcard additional entries for this Friday's Inglis The Chairman's Sale at Newmarket in Sydney. This will be the second part of the inaugural boutique event, the first stage of which was held for horses in training last week.
The Extreme Choice shares have been added as lots 90 and 91 and successful purchasers will be entitled to send two mares for the first four years of his career and one mare for the remainder of his life. The Mick Price-trained colt, winner of last year's G1 Blue Diamond S., is to stand at Newgate Farm in 2017.
Wildcard entries were also received for two mares. Lot 92, from the account of Aston Bloodstock and partners, is French Fern (Aus) (Lope De Vega {Ire}), winner of the G2 Reisling S. last year. Lot 93, from Rothwell Park Thoroughbreds, is the Listed winner Shigeru Sendan (Aus) (Denman {Aus}). She comes with a Written Tycoon (Aus) colt foal at foot.
The results of the first afternoon of The Championships at Randwick last Saturday have seen some substantial pedigree updates ahead of the sale. One of the mares going under the hammer is Flame Of Sydney (Aus) (Encosta De Lago {Aus}) (lot 51), whose son Invader (Aus) (Snitzel {us}) won the G1 Inglis Sires' Produce S. She has also produced the smart Hong Kong sprinter Not Listenin'tome (Aus). Opalize (Aus) (Anabaa) (lot 70), the dam of G3 Widden 150th Anniversary S. winner Property (Aus) (Starcraft {NZ}) and lot 41, Adonia Queen (Cherokee Run), whose Acatour (Aus) (Sebring {Aus}) won the G3 Carbine Club S., are other notable inclusions.
