Extreme Choice's Dam To Be Sold

Extremely (Aus) (Hussonet), the dam of last weekend's G1 Blue Diamond S. winner Extreme Choice (Aus) (Not A Single Doubt {Aus}), will be offered carrying a full-sibling to that colt as part of the Bell River Thoroughbreds unreserved dispersal at the Inglis Australian Broodmare and Weanling Sale in Sydney May 1 to 4.

Also among the 22 mares from Andrew Ferguson's operation set to be offered are the dams of stakes winners Flippant (Aus) (Hinchinbrook {Aus}), Neena Rock (Aus) (Fastnet Rock {Aus}), a three-quarter sister to Denman (Aus), and a sister to the dam of Group 1 winner First Seal (Aus) (Fastnet Rock {Aus}). The dispersal will also include shares in stallions Snitzel (Aus), Savabeel (Aus) and Duporth (Aus).

“Watching a colt we bred win the Blue Diamond last weekend with my wife Georgie and son James was an absolute dream,” said Ferguson. “We went to [trainer Mick Price's] stables on Saturday afternoon and were so proud and lucky to spend half an hour with Extreme Choice. From the first time we stepped into breeding 10 years ago we did it our own way. We've made some great friends and thoroughly enjoyed being part of this industry, but it's time.”
