Inglis's four-day Australian Broodmare and Weanling Sale gets underway Sunday, with Extremely (Aus) (Hussonet)–the dam of this year's G1 Blue Diamond S. winner Extreme Choice (Aus) (Not A Single Doubt {Aus}), carrying a full-sibling to that standout–no doubt one of the highlights of the catalogue.

Breeders will have to wait until day two of the sale, however, to get their hands on her, as trade opens with the offering of 221 weanlings Sunday.

Weanlings catalogued include members of the families of Group 1 winners like Flamberge (Aus) (Exceed and Excel {Aus}); Samaready (Aus) (More Than Ready); Holler (Aus) (Lonhro {Aus}); as well as accomplished and exciting young sires Snitzel (Aus); Nicconi (Aus); and I Am Invincible (Aus). Many of the country's leading sires are represented, and the sale will see the first public offerings by first-season sires like Zoustar (Aus) (Northern Meteor {Aus}); Dundeel (NZ) (High Chaparral {Ire}); Shamus Award (Aus) (Snitzel {Aus}), Declaration Of War (War Front) and Dawn Approach (Ire) (New Approach {Ire}).

The Inglis Australian Broodmare and Weanling Sale has developed a reputation as a top source for weanlings for pinhooking. Some of the successful results for weanlings purchased from last year's sale include a A$230,000 Medaglia d'Oro colt turned $875,000 yearling; a A$35,000 Choisir (Aus) colt resold for A$280,000 as a yearling; and a A$140,000 Lonhro (Aus) colt resold for A$340,000 as a yearling.

Extremely (lot 311) will be offered as part of the dispersal of Bell River Thoroughbreds. The 10-year-old unraced daughter of Canadian stakes winner Going To Extremes (Nasty And Bold) has produced six foals, including Extreme Choice, and is in foal to Not A Single Doubt, Australia's current leading active sire, on a Nov. 23 cover.

Another dispersal, that of Bell View Park Stud, will offer New Zealand Group 1 winner Barinka (NZ) (Shinko King {Ire}) (lot 295) carrying her fourth foal, a member of the first crop of Australian Horse of the Year Dissident (Aus).

Gooree Park Stud and Think Big Stud will both offer reduction sales of more than 50 broodmares. Gooree Park will offer two sisters to G1 Flight S. winner Speak Fondly (Aus) (Northern Meteor {Aus}) including her full-sister, the 6-year-old Sweet Talk (Aus) (lot 223), in foal to Smart Missile (Aus). Think Big will offer Group 1 winner Faint Perfume (Aus) (Shamardal) (lot 274) in foal to Redoute's Choice (Aus). Newgate Farm will offer Group 3 winner and Group 1-place Pane In The Glass (Aus) (Testa Rossa {Aus}) (lot 441) in foal to Deep Field (Aus); and trainer Anthony Cummings's 17-strong draft under the Princes Farm banner includes recent G3 Epona S. winner Vergara (Aus) (Snippetson {Aus}) (lot 550).

Also offered for sale at Inglis will be shares in Snitzel (Aus), Sebring (Aus) and Savabeel (Aus).
