Juddmonte homebred Fair Eva (GB) (Frankel {GB}) will head straight to the G1 Qipco 1000 Guineas at Newmarket on May 7 without a prep race, according to Roger Charlton's assistant and son Harry Charlton.
Fair Eva won last year's G3 Princess Margaret Juddmonte S. before finishing third in the G2 Lowther S. and second in the G2 Rockfel S.
“She won't have a prep run,” Harry Charlton confirmed. “She will go straight to the Guineas. She went to Kempton last week and worked well.”
“You invariably have a hard race in a trial if you win it or finish second or third,” he added. “Physically she has done very well. She has grown and put on a lot of weight. Mentally she is good.”
