Former jockey Kieren Fallon, who announced his retirement last month while also revealing a battle with depression, is said to be responding well to treatment in hospital.
Dr Adrian McGoldrick, senior medical officer of the Irish Turf Club, has been in regular contact with Fallon, and he announced on the former champion rider's behalf, “I saw him last week and he's doing very well. His treatment is going fine and he's in extremely good form. I haven't seen him look as good in a long time.”
