Fasig-Tipton's New York-Bred Yearlings Sale, scheduled for Aug. 12-13 in Saratoga Springs, will feature 296 entries in a catalogue that is now available for viewing on the company's website. Print catalogues are also available starting Thursday. Sale sessions will begin each evening at 6:30 p.m. in the Humphrey S. Finney Pavilion.
Notable graduates from the New York-bred sale in recent years are headed by leading sprinter Mind Your Biscuits (Posse). The chestnut, who RNA'ed for $47,000 at the sale in 2014, ran second in the GI TwinSpires Breeders' Cup Sprint before capturing the GI Malibu S. and the G1 Dubai Golden Shaheen when last seen Mar. 26. Haveyougoneaway, who sold for $105,000 at the 2012 sale, captured the GI Ballerina S. at Saratoga last summer before hammering down for $1.1-million at the Fasig-Tipton November sale. She was also a finalist for the champion female sprinter Eclipse Award.
