A total of 19 colts and 27 fillies remain in the G1 Qipco 2000 Guineas and G1 Qipco 1000 Guineas, respectively, after Tuesday's scratching stage. Among those are the respective favourites for each Classic, the Aidan O'Brien stablemates Churchill (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) and Rhododendron (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}). Among those set to take on the dual Group 1 winner Churchill on May 6 at Newmarket are Andre Fabre's Al Wukair (Ire) (Dream Ahead); G3 Craven S. winner Eminent (Ire) (Frankel {GB}) and G3 Greenham S. winner Barney Roy (Ire) (Excelebration {Ire}).
Among the fillies still eligible to take on the G1 Dubai Fillies' Mile winner Rhododendron the following afternoon are G3 Nell Gwyn S. winner Daban (Ire) (Acclamation {GB}) and last year's G3 Princess Margaret Juddmonte S. winner Fair Eva (GB) (Frankel {GB}). Daban's G3 Fred Darling S.-winning stablemate Dabyah (GB) (Sepoy {Aus}) remains among the entries, but is expected to take in the following weekend's G1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches instead.
