Feel-Good Factor

Happily | Racing Post

While it does not enjoy the same kudos as the Tyros, the G3 Jockey Club of Turkey Silver Flash S. at Leopardstown is still a hotbed of distaff talent and Thursday's edition features one for the pedigree gurus in Happily (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}). While her defeat of the re-opposing Shalailah (Ire) (Showcasing {GB}) and fair stablemate Sizzling (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) in a seven-furlong maiden at The Curragh on June 30 lacked the pizzazz of The Pentagon's display at the same track, the chief Ballydoyle envoy has all the foundations for a prominent career. A sister to the 2014 Tyros winner Gleneagles (Ire) and Irish 1000 Guineas heroine Marvellous (Ire) from the dynasty of Giant's Causeway, she is joined by the decisive July 13 course-and-distance maiden scorer Easter Lily (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) as they look to bring a sixth renewal to Aidan O'Brien since 2009.

The stable's former rider Johnny Murtagh seeks to upset the applecart with Qatar Racing Limited's Golden Spell (GB) (Al Kazeem {GB}), who on the form of her success as the highweight in a six-furlong nursery at The Curragh on July 16 is the best filly in the race.
