Feld Launches Website to Support Thoroughbred Auctions

At The Sale has announced the launch of the beta version of its new website platform, www.atthesale.com, to coincide with this year's annual Fasig-Tipton October yearling sale in Lexington, Kentucky.

Attempting to bring buyers and sellers together worldwide, At The Sale will also create a platform where sellers can provide photos, videos, vet reports and comments about each horse. The site also will have a database containing historical sale results dating back over 10 years and will include advanced shortlisting tools and features.

“I've been attending Thoroughbred auctions for years,” said At The Sale co-founder Sean Feld. “As a buyer and also as a seller it's apparent that there is always a need for more information. I speak to countless buyers and consignors and the conversation is always the same. There is a big need for one central source of information where the consignors can effectively market their horses and the buyers can efficiently access that information. At The Sale addresses that need.”

Co-founder Mike Oliveto added: “The platform is fully functional on any tablet, laptop, desktop, smart phone, etc. We see this as a game changer. By the first 2-year-old sale of 2017, we'll be clicking on all cylinders.”
