A striking colt by A.P. Indy out of GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies runner-up Platinum Tiara (Cozzene) was purchased by John Ferguson, bidding on behalf of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, for $700,000 to lead the early way at the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Sale in upstate New York. The dark bay colt was consigned by Taylor Made for Rob Murphy's M375 Thoroughbreds, professional baseball player Paul Lo Duca and Pablo Suarez's Suarez Racing. “He was a nice horse and he moved well and obviously [A.P. Indy] is a sire that has been successful for Godolphin and Darley,” Ferguson commented.
