Bill Finley has won the 2010 Eclipse Award for outstanding writing in the news/enterprise division for his story, “Do We Need a Sturdier Racehorse?” published by the Thoroughbred Daily News as its November, 2010 magazine offering. It is the first writing Eclipse for Finley, who previously won the Eclipse for the Outstanding Radio Program with his “Down the Stretch” on Sirius/XM Radio, together with co-host Dave Johnson and producer Ed Pappas.
