Finsceal Beo Kin Makes a Half-Million at Tatts

John Ferguson went to 500,000gns for an Oasis Dream (GB) half-brother to champion and MG1SW Finsceal Beo (Ire) (Mr. Greeley) as the first session of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale in Newmarket rolled on. The bay was bred and consigned by Liam Cashman's Rathbarry Stud, which acquired the colt's dam Musical Treat (Ire) (Royal Academy) for $100,000 at the 2003 Keeneland November sale when she was carrying Finsceal Beo in utero. She went on to become a 340,000 euros purchase at Goffs in 2005, while the mare's current thre-year-old Musical Bar (Ire) (Barathea {Ire}), a 150,000 euros purchase at Goffs in 2006, is a maiden winner and missed by a head in Listed company in her only two trips to the post.
