James Garfield (Ire) (Exceed And Excel {Aus}), a MGSW and runner-up in the G1 LARC Prix Maurice de Gheest, has his first three mares scanned in foal, Rathbarry Stud announced on Wednesday. The trio are: the three-time winner Rebel Aclaim (Ire) (Acclamation {GB}), herself half to a listed winner; Dazzling Light (UAE) (Halling), a winning half-sister to MSW & MGSP Balkan Knight (GB) (Selkirk); and Welcome Spring (Ire) (Lawman {Fr}), a half-sister to Group 3 winner Flowers Of Spring (Ire) (Celtic Swing {GB}).
“I am delighted with the quality of the mares booked into James Garfield for his first season at stud,” said Paul Cashman of Rathbarry.
