Flanagan Relinquishes Role

Mick Flanagan | Townley Hall Bloodstock

Mick Flanagan, of Townley Hall Bloodstock, has decided to step down from his role as advisor to Merriebelle Stable, he announced Monday.

“I will be forever grateful to Charlie Noell and John Moores of Merriebelle Stable as they gave me a run when nobody else would,” the Irishman told the TDN. “I am delighted to have purchased both Sydney's Gr 1 Champion S. winner, Vanbrugh, for the outfit along with the Group 2-winning Lonsdale Cup winner, Pale Mimosa, who has returned back to the farm in Ireland in foal to Le Havre.”

Flanagan will continue to develop Townley Hall Bloodstock as an independent bloodstock agency, and also work closely with the China Horse Club alongside Michael Wallace.
