A filly by leading sire Tapit and the first foal out of celebrity chef Bobby Fla?s Grade III winner and two-time Grade I-placed Super Espresso (Medaglia ?Oro), was one of the star turns in the mid-afternoon hours Tuesday at Keeneland, selling for an even $1 million to Chiefswood Stables. The Feb. 1 foal was catalogued as hip 307 as part of Arthur Hancockメs Stone Farm consignment. A half-sister to MGSW and G1SP King of Rome (Montjeu {Ire}), Super Espresso fetched a final bid of $1.1 million when offered at this event in 2008. Winner of the 2011 GIII Allaire duPont Distaff S., Super Espresso foaled another filly by Tapit earlier this season. Super Espresso hails from the extended female family of Althea.
