He breezed the sale’s quickest furlong in :9 3/5, and subsequently returned a winning bid of $575,000 Monday evening from Demi O’Byrne, who had already acquired a Malibu Moon colt for $675,000 earlier in the session. Purchased by Bruno DeBerdt for $50,000 as a yearling at FTKOCT, DeBerdt’s Excel Bloodstock consigned hip 67, who was bred by Harvey A Clarke Racing Stable LLC.
