Forest Wildcat (Storm Cat–Victoria Beauty, by Bold Native) died Thursday night at Rood and Riddle Equine Clinic, Brookdale Farm announced this morning. He had undergone emergency surgery Wednesday after showing signs of discomfort. Brookdale said there will be an autopsy to determine the cause of death. A MGSW, Forest Wildcat was the sire of 52 blacktype winners. His progeny have combined to earn $33,781,785. Forest Wildcat is represented by 2008 graded winners Behindatthebar, Brownie Points, Chatain, and Coragil Cat.
