A filly foal by Frankel (GB) is one of five wildcards added to Arqana's December Breeding Stock Sale. All five wildcards will go through the ring on the opening day of the sale Dec. 3.
Consigned by Haras des Capucines, the Frankel filly (lot 170) is out of the listed winner Ascot Family (Ire) (Desert Style), and is therefore a half-sister to G2 Prix Robert Papin winner Family One (Fr) (Dubai Destination) and the stakes-placed Modern Family (Fr) (Excellent Art {GB}). Group 1 winners G Force (Ire), Flotilla (Fr) and Lethal Force (Ire) appear under the second dam.
Also added to the catalogue are Soudanaise (Ire) (Peintre Celebre) (lot 130), a full-sister to Group 1 winner Sudan (Ire) in foal to Muharaar (GB); the stakes-placed Laseen (Ire) (Dylan Thomas {Ire}) (lot 140) from the family of Usherette (GB) and Vespone (Fr); listed winner Stone Roses (Fr) (Rip Van Winkle {Ire}) (lot 150); the stakes-placed Saimaa (Ire) (Zoffany {Ire}) (lot 180); and Arcadia (Fr) (Lope De Vega {Ire}) (lot 100), a 3-year-old filly from the Aga Khan family of Ivawood (GB) and Berkshire (GB) who was accidentally omitted from the initial catalogue.
