With an earlier Frankel offering failing to reach her reserve when bidding closed at ﾀ375,000, the freshman sire bettered that price and surged to the top of Goffs' November foal sheets when Hip 885, a March-foaled filly, went the way of an as yet undisclosed buyer for ﾀ550,000. The offers opened at a lowly ﾀ70,000 and proceeded in gradual increments before reaching a crescendo just beyond the half-million mark. David Redvers, who joined the fray at ﾀ320,000, was underbidder. Out of the 2003 G3 Park Hill S. victress Discreet Brief (Ire) (Darshaan {GB}), she is a half-sister to the 2012 G2 Royal Lodge S. winner Steeler (Ire) (Raven's Pass). Subsequent to passing through the ring, the chestnut was the subject of a dispute and ultimately listed as a ﾀ460,000 purchase for British-based syndicate RBL.
