The first foal out of SW/GISP Lady Kate, STORMING (Curlin) cost $850,000 at Keeneland September in 2024 for the partnership of Arnmore Thoroughbreds, Pine Racing Stables, Belmar Racing and Breeding and Legendary Thoroughbreds. Bred by Stonestreet who purchased Lady Kate for $1.15-million at the Fasig-Tipton November Sale in 2021, Storming's impressive sales tag was usurped by that of his Into Mischief half-brother who sold to Resolute Racing for an eye-popping $3-million at the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Sale last summer.
Another son of Curlin, Battle, is out of GI Frizette Stakes winner and 'TDN Rising Star' A Z Warrior, making him a half to SW Justa Warrior (Justify) and Irish SW Key to My Heart (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}). The family is rife with 'Rising Stars' as A Z Warrior earned the moniker alongside a trio of half-siblings in Jojo Warrior (Pioneerof the Nile), J Z Warrior (Harlan's Holiday) and E Z Warrior (Exploit). Presidential Power (Constitution), bred and co-owned by Whisper Hill Farm, cost $675,000 at the 2024 Keeneland September Sale. He's the first foal out of an unraced half-sister to MGSW Overheard (Macho Uno) and to the dam of SW/GISP Dry Power (Gun Runner).
Drawn outside is Noble Edition (Into Mischief) for Wathnan Racing who purchased him for $650,000 also out of the Keeneland September Sale. First dam Ms Locust Point earned over $675,000 in her racing career with multiple stakes wins at Laurel Park before selling to Clearsky Farm, this colt's breeder, for $425,000 in 2019. TJCIS PPS
