As TDN's Bill Finley reported earlier this week, Horse of the Year Flightline (by Tapit) has his first foal ready to hit the track at Churchill Downs on Friday. GREENWELL was a $500,000 buy for Greg Tramontin during the 2025 Keeneland September Sale. Sent to trainer Mark Casse, the Flightline colt is out of MGSW Cambodia (War Front), who is a half-sister to the dam of GSW Danse Macabre (Army Mule).
Also set for a start is another Keeneland grad in Grand Yaupon (Yaupon). The $560,000 purchase who is trained by Steve Asmussen will be joined by Never Sleep (City of Light). The Larry Rivelli trainee went for $450,000 during OBS March and is out of a dam who is a half-sister to MGSW Mr Freeze (To Honor and Serve).
Finally, Mo Misery (Uncle Mo) is set for his unveiling after bringing $675,000 during the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Yearling Sale. A member of Robert Medina's shedrow, the colt is out of a winning mare whose half-sister is GSW Girl Daddy (Uncle Mo), herself the dam of MGSW On Time Girl (Not This Time). TJCIS PPS
