Spin (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) , who was runner-up in last year's G3 Blue Wind S. for Ballydoyle, is a half to the Pattern-race performers Hearthstead Maison (Ire) (Peintre Celebre) and Rave Reviews (Ire) (Sadler's Wells) from the excellent family of Groom Dancer, Tagel, Slew the Slewor. In foal to Fastnet Rock (Aus), the 4-year-old was always going to cause a stir at the Elie de Brignac sales complex. So it proved, with Nicolas de Watrigant's Mandore International Agency prevailing at 850K.
