George Steinbrenner Dies

George Steinbrenner, principal owner of the New York Yankees and Kinsman Stable, died Tuesday morning after suffering a heart attack. He was 80. Steinbrenner raced 2005 GI Wood Memorial winner Bellamy Road (Concerto), as well as Kinsman homebred Grade I winners Spinning Round (Dixieland Band) and her daughter Dream Supreme (Seeking the Gold). Dream Supreme's third foal was Majestic Warrior (A.P. Indy), who carried the Kinsman colors to victory in the 2007 GI Hopeful S.
