GO MAGGIE GO (f, 3, Ghostzapper–Magibel, by Tale of the Cat) made her debut a winning one Sunday afternoon at Gulfstream, rallying to notch a comfortable score. The filly posted a steady series of works at Palm Meadows in preparation for this unveiling and was sent postward with a 7-1 chance. Away in good order, the bay secured position tracking the pace behind a trio of horses as the leaders cut out a quarter-mile in :22.80. Shifted out on the turn, the Mike Tarp homebred mounted a four-wide bid on the turn and stormed home down the center of the strip to win going away by four lengths. Fellow first-timer Conquest Serenade (Unbridled's Song) completed the exacta. The final time for six furlongs was 1:11.51. The winner is a half-sister to Wallyanna (Langfuhr), GSW, $231,214.
