He was quiet early in the session, but John Ferguson let his presence be known when hip 159 entered the ring at FTSAUG Tuesday. Bidding on behalf of Sheikh Mohammed, Ferguson went to $875,000 to land his first buy of the night, a colt by Medaglia d'Oro out of Kendall Hill (Theatrical {Ire}). The dark bay was consigned by Warrendale Sales, agent for Whitechurch Farm, who had acquired the colt for just $165,000 as a KEENOV weanling. The January foal is out of a daughter of GSW Blue Jean Baby (Mr. Prospector), and from the family of MGSW Limehouse (Grand Slam).
