Goresbridge have their catalogue available on-line well in advance of their breeze up sale which is scheduled for May 25-26. There are 237 lots catalogued for the sale which can be viewed here with another strong lineup of sires and vendors represented. Tally-Ho Stud annually offer a large draft and this year is no different with 23 catalogued from the O'Callaghan family's stud. These include numerous lots by their resident stallions Kodiac (GB), Zebedee (GB) and the ill-fated Society Rock (Ire) while they also offer the solitary juvenile by another deceased stallion in Scat Daddy (lot 80). Society Rock has been well touted ahead of his first crop hitting the track this year and his son lot 110 boasts a smart pedigree. His dam Flamanda (GB) (Niniski) has bred the Royal Ascot winner Elletelle (Ire) (Elnadim) who in turn is the dam of G1 Cox Plate and GI Secretariat S. winner Adelaide (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}).
Sea The Stars (Ire) has two in the sale, a filly lot 34 from Meadowview Stables and a colt, lot 169 from Egmont Stud whose full brother Serenade The Stars (Ire) has won twice this year for trainer James Tate. Egmont Stud also offer one of two by Oasis Dream (GB) in the sale. Lot 89 out of the stakes placed Hideaway Heroine (Ire) (Hernando {Fr}) is a half-sister to three stakes winners. Willie Browne has been a constant presence at breeze up sales for many years and among his draft of 11 is a Dark Angel (Ire) filly, lot 148 who is a half-sister to G2 July S. winner Classic Blade (Ire) (Daggers Drawn) and the speedy 12-time winner Captain Dunne (Ire) (Captain Rio {GB}). Horses will begin breezing at Gowran Park at 12 p.m. Thursday May 25 with the sale commencing the following morning at 10.30 a.m.
