Jewel in the Sand (Ire) (Bluebird), winner of the G2 Cherry Hinton S. and the Listed Albany S., brought a bid of 620,000gns to top the early returns at Tattersalls December yesterday. The five-year-old mare was purchased by the Limerick-based Epona Management Ltd. Bred to Galileo (Ire), she is carrying her first foal.
