Fox Hill Farmís Hard Spun (Danzig) took to the track at Delaware Park yesterday for his final serious drill in advance of the GI Breedersí Cup Classic. The Larry Jones-trained colt, winner of the GI Kingís Bishop S. and GII Kentucky Cup Classic S. in his last two, breezed five furlongs in 1:00 1/5. ìIím not sure about the time, I just know he worked well,î said Jones. ìHe couldnít be doing any better. Heís training better than he ever has.î Hard Spun, who will van to Monmouth Tuesday morning, will be partnered with regular jockey Mario Pino in the Classic.
