Harristown House Stud was originally owned by the La Touche banking family, who purchased it in 1768, and its present owners, who bought it in 1943, are now retiring.
The 750-acre property rests on rich parkland overlooking the River Liffey and is surrounded by beech, oak and lime trees. The property includes a 12,000 square foot Georgian home with an additional 6,000 square foot basement. The house has four main reception rooms, a library, drawing room, dining room and Chinese Room.
