Havana Cooler Realizes 425,000gns at Tatts
The 4-year-old colt Havana Cooler (Ire) (Hurricane Run {Ire}) was the subject of a bidding war at Tattersalls' Horses-in-Training Sale today that resulted in the highest priced paid at the sale since 2010: 425,000gns. The consistent handicap performer was secured by Anthony Stroud.ᅠ”We really wanted to get this horse, he has very much the right profile,” said Stroud. “And, yes, he is for the Carnival, but he has more of a future than just that.”
