California's leading older horse Heatseeker (Ire) (Giant's Causeway) will miss tomorrow's GI Hollywood Gold Cup due to an ankle injury, the Daily Racing Form reports. ìThe injury is not believed to be serious,î trainer Jerry Hollendorfer told DRF. ìHe filled up a left front ankle and had some heat in it. We made the decision not to run. We hope to run later in the year. The X-rays were negative. Hopefully it will calm down and we can resume training. We consulted with our vet and we made a decision not to run.î
