Her Smile (Include), who carried the silks of Bobby Flay to victory in theﾠ2011 GI Prioress S. and offered in foal to leading sire Tapit, was hammered down to Larry and Karen Doyle's KatieRich Farms for $1.5 million at about the midway point of Wednesday's second session of the Keeneland November Sale in Lexington. It was the third seven-figure transaction for Her Smile, who was purchased by Adena Springs for an even $1 million at FTKNOV in 2011, who in turn sold the mare tp SF Bloodstock for $1.075 million in foal to Ghostzapper at that venue 12 months ago. Her Smile was also third in the GI Acorn S. and GI Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint. While they were on the buying side of things Wednesday, KatieRich was in the headlinesﾠat Keeneland September, selling a filly by Smart Strike–Distinctively for $700,000.
